Are you a coach who wants to work with well-schooled horses and a connected community of appreciative riders? Do you value a calm, organised workplace that also supports for your own riding goals?

 

The Parklands Stables is based in one of Australia’s most vibrant equestrian regions, the Southern Highlands, NSW, just 90 minutes from Sydney. The area is home to a thriving equestrian community, including some of the nation’s top riders and coaches.

We’re looking for a riding coach (full time or job sharing) who is ready to grow their career in a supportive, purpose-driven team. You’ll teach children and adults across a range of riding levels, continue our horses’ education, and be part of a team that values structure, kindness, and quality at every level.

  • Your lessons will be relationship-based, with riders grooming and tacking their horses as part of their lesson to build confidence and a deeper connection before they ride

  • We support our coaches in pursuing their own riding goals with flexibility for competition commitments

  • This is a stable full-time, or a flexible job share, position: up to 38–40 hrs/week 

 

Who You Are

You’re a coach who:

  • Has, or is willing to obtain, EA coaching accreditation or an equivalent Australian or international qualification

  • Has, or is willing to obtain, current First Aid (HLTAID011) and a NSW Working With Children Check (NSW)

  • Enjoys encouraging the learning of others and finds genuine satisfaction in their clients’ achievements

  • Communicates clearly and professionally with both clients and colleagues

  • Has a growth mindset and enjoys continuing to learn

  • Believes in doing things properly, from stable to saddle

 

What We Offer

  • $60,000–$75,000 salary (pro-rata if job-share) + 12% super

  • A stable full-time role (38–40 hrs/week) or a flexible job-share arrangement (1 – 4 days)

Location

We’re based in Woodlands, near Mittagong, just 90 minutes from Sydney. The Southern Highlands is known for its natural beauty, excellent lifestyle, and exceptional equestrian network.
